BTS’s Jimin has broken another massive record on Spotify, proving his unmatched global popularity.
On August 15, Jimin’s second solo album MUSE officially surpassed 3.2 billion streams on Spotify, making it the fastest Korean album ever to achieve this milestone. The album was released on July 19, 2024, meaning it reached the record in just 393 days.
This makes MUSE not only the first and only Korean solo album to surpass 3.2 billion streams but also the only K-pop album released in 2024 to reach this milestone.

The title track “Who” is leading the album’s record-breaking success, with over 1.918 billion streams and now racing toward the 2 billion mark. The song charted for 33 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 even while Jimin is serving in the military, showcasing his unstoppable influence.
Other tracks from the album are also performing strongly:
- “Closer Than This” – 292M streams (soon to hit 300M)
- “Be Mine” – 269M streams
- “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” – 236M streams
- “Slow Dance” – 113M streams
- “Rebirth” – passed 100M on July 8
- “Interlude: Showtime” – 91M streams (close to 100M)

This means 4 out of 7 tracks have already crossed 200M streams, while every track is on the verge of hitting 100M, proving Jimin’s unbeatable streaming power.
Meanwhile, “Who” continues its chart success. For the Billboard chart dated August 16, the track ranked #111 on the Global 200 and #77 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, extending its streak to 55 consecutive weeks.
With records like these, Jimin has once again proven why he’s called a global streaming king.
