Lee Dong Wook drew attention after honestly sharing what he looks for in an ideal partner.

During the July 11 episode of tvN’s “Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip”, the cast members played a quiz based on memorable scenes from the popular drama “Goblin”.

One question featured a scene in which Eun Tak, played by Kim Go Eun, asked Kim Shin, played by Gong Yoo, whether his ideal type was “a good wife and mother, a sexy woman, or a professional woman.”

When asked to choose between the three options in real life, Lee Dong Wook selected a professional woman.

“I prefer a professional woman. I hope she has her own career,” he said.

The actor explained that income was not the most important factor for him. Instead, he said he would like to meet someone who has a job or personal goal she can pursue with passion.

Yoo In Na then gave him a difficult choice. She asked whether he would prefer a woman who has her own profession but earns no money, or a wealthy woman who does not have her own career.

Lee Dong Wook answered, “It is okay even if she has no money.”

Yoo In Na jokingly continued, “What if she keeps using your money?”

Without hesitation, Lee Dong Wook replied, “That is fine. I have enough,” surprising the cast with his confident response.

The lighthearted conversation quickly gained attention as Lee Dong Wook showed that he values passion, independence, and dedication more than a partner’s financial success.
