FC Bayern Munich gained attention from BTS fans after once again naming V as its favorite member during the group’s concerts at Allianz Arena.
BTS held two sold out “ARIRANG World Tour” concerts at the stadium on July 11 and 12. The venue, which can welcome around 75,000 people, is the home stadium of FC Bayern Munich.
The group reportedly became the first Asian artist to sell out two consecutive concerts at Allianz Arena.
During the concert period, the football club shared several posts featuring V across its official social media accounts.
FC Bayern Munich again stated that its favorite BTS member was “Tae,” V’s nickname, and uploaded a video of him with the message, “Red looks good on you.”
The club had first shared its support for V in July 2023 after answering “Tae” when fans asked which BTS member was its favorite.
Ahead of the Munich concerts, FC Bayern Munich also posted a video showing several players, including goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, holding BTS’s official light stick, known as the ARMY Bomb.
Some players asked, “What is this? What do you do with it?”
South Korean defender Kim Min Jae explained, “It is BTS’s official light stick. Fans turn on the lights together and use it to support them during concerts.”
Neuer then sent a message to the group, saying, “Hello, BTS! I hope you have a great concert!”
FC Bayern Munich later shared V’s performance video on Instagram alongside posts featuring its players, further showing the club’s support during BTS’s historic stadium concerts.
