aespa member Karina revealed the caring reason her refrigerator is filled with homemade Korean side dishes.
Karina and Winter appeared as guests on the July 12 episode of JTBC’s “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator Since 2014.”
During the episode, the hosts were surprised by the large number of Korean dishes inside Karina’s refrigerator and asked who had prepared them.
Karina answered, “My eldest aunt.”
She explained, “My aunt enjoys cooking. My mother is currently away for language studies, so my aunt prepares side dishes and sends them to me in her place.”
The thoughtful meals showed how Karina’s aunt has been taking care of her while her mother is abroad.
Karina also shared that she prefers Korean food. However, she clarified that she does not dislike Western dishes.
She said, “I cannot make Western food myself, so I usually eat it when I go out.”
