Sung Si Kyung has finally revealed why he’s still not married, and his answer might surprise you!

In the December 29th episode of Heo Young Man's Food Travel on TV CHOSUN, the popular singer joined Chef Heo Young Man to taste some delicious year-end dishes.

While many know Sung Si Kyung for his smooth voice and impressive singing career, it was his personal life that became the hot topic during the show.

Sung Si Kyung also opened up about some of the rumors surrounding him. He addressed the stories that he learned Japanese in just six months and can supposedly drink up to 30 bottles of soju, but he laughed it off, admitting he is far from the "invincible" figure people think he is. Despite his fame, fortune, and popularity, he described himself as a "boring person."

When asked what he spends all his money on, Sung Si Kyung shared, "I’m not interested in cars, clothes, or watches," giving a very honest and down-to-earth answer.

He is known for traveling across the country to scout out hidden gems in the food scene, a task he compares to his approach in other parts of his life.

Sung shared, “I’m inspired by Heo Young Man’s Food Travel to search even harder for great food places,” showing how he’s driven by both camaraderie and a bit of friendly competition in the food world.

He even shared that the process of contacting restaurants feels similar to confessing his feelings to someone he likes—revealing just how much thought and care he puts into every aspect of his work.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
