Hwang In Youp is making fans laugh with his honest comment about playing a student once again.
On July 7, the production presentation for ENA’s new Monday Tuesday drama “Dream to You” was held in Seoul. Director Yoo Sun Dong attended the event along with lead actors Hwang In Youp and Lee Hye Ri.
“Dream to You” is a romantic comedy about Woo Soo Bin, a genius film director who returns after achieving his dream, and Joo Yi Jae, a reporter who has forgotten her own dream while focusing on making a living. Hwang In Youp plays Woo Soo Bin, while Lee Hye Ri plays Joo Yi Jae.
The drama is directed by Yoo Sun Dong, known for “Trigger” and “The Uncanny Counter” seasons 1 and 2. The script is written by Jung Eun Bi, who worked on projects such as “Doom at Your Service”, “Mr. Sunshine”, and “Goblin”.
During the event, Hwang In Youp talked about wearing a school uniform again for the drama. He said, “I also said in my previous work that it would be the last time, but I am sorry for wearing a school uniform again”.
He explained that he chose the drama because he wanted to try a romantic comedy, saying, “I really wanted to film a romantic comedy, and I was looking for a script that could tell the best story.”
Hwang In Youp then joked, “I am sorry, but I could not miss this, so I ended up wearing a school uniform once again. This will really be the last time for student acting”.
“Dream to You” is set to premiere on July 13 at 10 PM.
