Block B member and actor P.O recently looked back on his humble acting debut and shared how much his career has changed over the years.
During the July 11 episode of tvN’s “Amazing Saturday”, P.O spoke about his connection with guest Yang Se Jong. The two previously appeared together in the 2017 SBS drama “Temperature of Love”, which marked P.O’s acting debut.
P.O played Kang Min Ho, the youngest chef working in the kitchen led by Yang Se Jong’s character, On Jung Sun. However, he revealed that his role had very little dialogue during the early episodes.
“At that time, my lines were only two words,” P.O said. “Until episode 6, I only said, ‘Yes, chef,’ about five times.”
His honest confession showed how small his first role was compared to his current success.
P.O has since gained wider international attention through Netflix’s “Teach You a Lesson”, which became popular with viewers around the world.
After hearing about his rise as an actor, the “Amazing Saturday” cast members praised him and called him a “world star.”
From repeating only “Yes, chef” in his debut drama to receiving global attention through a Netflix series, P.O’s story highlights how far he has come in his acting career.
