BTS’s Jin has officially made history on Billboard with his first solo world tour, proving once again why he’s called the “sold-out king.”
From June 28 to August 10, Jin held his “Run Seokjin Tour” (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR), performing 18 shows across 9 cities — starting in Korea before heading to Japan (Chiba, Osaka), the U.S. (Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark), the U.K. (London), and the Netherlands (Amsterdam). Every single show was sold out, with fans praising his unmatched stage presence.
On August 27 (KST), Billboard released its Monthly Top Tours and Top Boxscores charts. Jin ranked #1 on the Top Tours chart, recording $32.5 million in revenue and an audience of 217,000 — the highest monthly record ever achieved by an Asian solo artist. He also became the first Asian soloist in history to surpass both $30 million in revenue and 200,000 attendees in just one month.

What makes this milestone even more impressive is that the record was set with only 12 shows in Japan and the U.S., not even including his performances in Korea and Europe.
Industry accounts like Pop Core highlighted that Jin also broke the record for the highest monthly boxscore for an Asian soloist, earning $9.6 million from just two concerts at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome. Demand was so high in Osaka that even the 8th floor — which isn’t usually opened for concerts — was fully released, shocking fans who said even BTS’s group concerts had not used it.
Brent Donnelly, tour director from Live Nation, praised Jin’s sold-out success, posting on Instagram after the U.S. and Europe dates: “It has now wrapped up… Jin’s 12 sold-out concerts. Truly incredible…” Touring Asia Pop even crowned him the “triple crown sold-out king” of Asia, America, and Europe.

In Korea, his two-day shows in Goyang sold out instantly with tens of thousands still waitlisted. In Japan, all four days in Chiba and Osaka were also fully packed. Across all 18 shows in 9 cities, not a single seat was left unsold.
Global media also praised his tour. Rolling Stone U.K. gave a perfect 5-star review, calling him “a truly one-of-a-kind, unrivaled entertainer.” Wonderland Magazine U.K. wrote that his solo identity shone naturally, proving that “a single voice and piano can shine brighter than any special effects.” Paris Match (France) admired his humor, stage manners, and talent across genres as “a perfect gift to fans.” Forbes (U.S.) noted his stable high notes and wide vocal range, proving he is “far more than just a handsome face.”
With these achievements, Jin has set a new standard as an Asian solo artist, reaffirming his titles as “Live King” and “Worldwide Handsome” while leaving fans and media across the world in awe.
