Rookie actress Chae Seo Eun recently shared a warm story about working with Jun Ji Hyun on the film “Colony”.
On June 22, Chae Seo Eun appeared in an interview on the YouTube channel “One Mike”, where she talked about playing a bully type villain in the movie.
Because of her strong role, she said she has been receiving many angry messages from viewers. She shared, “I get a lot of hate DMs,” adding that she simply reads them and thinks, “They must be very angry.”
Chae Seo Eun then opened up about Jun Ji Hyun’s kind actions during filming. Since Jun Ji Hyun is a major senior actress and Chae Seo Eun is still a rookie, she said she did not feel comfortable approaching her first.
However, Jun Ji Hyun was the one who reached out. Chae Seo Eun said Jun Ji Hyun personally prepared food for her and told her, “You must be hungry, eat this”.
She also revealed that Jun Ji Hyun warmly welcomed her at an after party in Cannes and told her, “I think you did well.”
Chae Seo Eun added that Jun Ji Hyun even asked for her phone number first, and they now have a group chat together.
The rookie actress also shared that Jun Ji Hyun was thoughtful during emotional scenes. Even when Chae Seo Eun was not on camera, Jun Ji Hyun noticed her effort and advised her, “Do not use all your energy now. Do not overdo it”.
Chae Seo Eun ended by saying Jun Ji Hyun gave her encouraging words after the project, telling her, “I think you will do well after this project”.
The story is gaining attention as viewers praise Jun Ji Hyun for taking care of a younger actress with kindness and support.
