BTS’s Jin has once again proven his massive global music power — this time by surpassing 400 million streams on Spotify with his hit Don’t Say You Love Me.
As of August 5, the title track from Jin’s second solo album Echo has exceeded 400 million streams on the world’s largest music platform — achieving the milestone in just about three months since its release on May 16. The song’s steady rise shows how much love it continues to receive from listeners worldwide.
Upon release, Don’t Say You Love Me swept music charts and set historic records. It became the first song by an Asian artist in 2025 to reach #1 on the Spotify Global Chart.

In Japan, the song’s performance has been extraordinary. It stayed at #1 on the Spotify Top Songs Japan chart for 41 consecutive days — the longest-running #1 in the country’s Spotify history for a K-pop male solo artist.
It also holds the record for the longest #1 for a K-pop solo song without a feature, ranking second overall among K-pop soloists behind Rosé & Bruno Mars’s APT.
Jin is also the only K-pop soloist in Japan’s Spotify history to have more than one #1 song — with Running Wild (2024) and now Don’t Say You Love Me.

Jin’s album Echo has also broken major records. According to U.S. Chart Data, it was the best-selling Korean solo album in pure sales in the U.S. during the first half of 2025 — despite being released in mid-May.
It also ranked #2 on Korea’s Spotify 2025 First Half “Global Impact List,” the highest position for a Korean male artist.
In Billboard’s fan voting, Don’t Say You Love Me dominated with 93% of the votes, beating out global acts like Morgan Wallen and Rihanna.

The song has also earned critical praise, with Rolling Stone U.S. writing,
“With this album, Jin has further elevated his own style and radiates dazzling charm.”
Meanwhile, after wrapping up his final concert in Amsterdam, Jin will head straight to the U.S. to prepare for BTS’s highly anticipated group album.
