• BIBI Hilariously Shares How Her Family Brags About Her—From Her Dad to Grandma, They Can't Stop Showing Off

BIBI had everyone in stitches on Knowing Bros when she shared hilarious stories about how her family brags about her.

On the January 25th episode of JTBC’s Knowing Bros, BIBI appeared alongside Park Nam Jung, STAYC's Sieun, Shin Shin, and Kiss of Life's Bel, as well as Kim Na Kyung from tripleS. The episode was filled with laughs, especially when BIBI opened up about her family’s proud moments.

The conversation started with Kang Ho Dong bringing up BIBI’s hit song “Bam Yanggaeng,” which led BIBI to joke, “I only have 'Bam Yanggaeng.’” Min Kyung Hoon also mentioned her collaboration with Wooju Hipjjang in “Hanlyang,” and BIBI playfully admitted, “It really helped my career,” making everyone laugh.

When Kim Hee Chul recalled how he tried to book BIBI for a performance, BIBI humorously shared, “You didn’t need to do that. If you just said, ‘Come sing,’ I would have said, ‘Yes, of course,’ because I was really struggling back then,” which cracked up the cast.

Then came the fun part! Kang Ho Dong joked about BIBI’s growing fame, saying, “After ‘Bam Yanggaeng,’ you won’t be able to handle the popularity when you go back to your hometown.”

That’s when BIBI spilled the beans on her family’s proud reactions. She shared a funny story about her grandmother, who is very proper but can’t help but brag about her.

“When ‘Bam Yanggaeng’ comes out, she says, ‘I really like BIBI. Isn’t ‘Bam Yanggaeng’ hot these days?’ BIBI’s impression of her grandmother had everyone in stitches.

BIBI also revealed that her dad, who works at a travel agency, loves showing off her success to his customers.

She mimicked her father’s accent saying, “It’s Vietnam, but they want to hear BIBI’s voice,” and then added, “When there are customers, he says, ‘Our customers want to hear BIBI’s voice,’” causing even more laughter from the cast.

The conversation took a sweet turn when BIBI shared how her mom quietly asks for her autograph, and how people now call her BIBI instead of her real name, Hyungseo.

But the family bragging didn’t stop there—BIBI also revealed that her family talks about her younger sister, Kim Na Kyung, who is gaining popularity. Kim Na Kyung joked, “I do too. I’ve become a bit hot recently,” referencing her own rise in fame.

BIBI also mentioned that her dad is a huge fan of tripleS, the group her sister is part of. Kim Na Kyung shared with a laugh, “My dad talks more about the other members than about me,” revealing her dad’s “fan obsession.”

BIBI’s family moments and hilarious impressions had everyone laughing, making this Knowing Bros episode one to remember!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
