BTS’s V is once again showing his strong selling power, with the 2026 autumn issue of British fashion magazine Dazed featuring him on the cover rising to the top of bestseller rankings in both South Korea and Japan.

The V cover edition ranked No. 1 overall in the foreign books category on major Korean online bookstores YES24 and Aladin.

Strong demand was also seen in Japan, where the magazine reached No. 1 on Rakuten’s daily magazine ranking.

On Qoo10 Japan, editions featuring V also occupied several high positions. They reportedly ranked No. 1 and No. 4 across the broader K-pop category, while multiple versions appeared throughout the top 10 of the K-pop magazine and photobook category.

The results highlight V’s continued ability to generate strong consumer interest through fashion and magazine appearances, often described by fans and media as the “V effect.”

The Dazed photoshoot was taken in Paris during V’s visit for Paris Fashion Week in July, where he attended activities as a global ambassador for Celine.

For the shoot, V modeled pieces from Celine artistic director Michael Rider’s Fall/Winter collection, presenting the looks with a classic and understated mood.

Dazed editor-in-chief Ted Stansfield, who worked with V on the project, praised his performance in front of the camera, saying, “V modeled like a professional.”

Stansfield later also commented on V after watching BTS perform during their Arirang world tour in London, saying, “The stage feels like V’s natural habitat. He was born to be on stage.”

With his Dazed cover reaching No. 1 on major sales charts in both South Korea and Japan, V continues to demonstrate his influence not only in music but also across fashion and publishing.
