British comedian and actor Paddy Young has drawn attention after openly expressing his admiration for BTS’s Jimin during a recent interview.
Rolling Stone UK recently shared a video featuring Young, who was asked about previously mentioning BTS in a segment on SNL UK and what he thought about the group’s activities in 2026.
Young jokingly admitted, “Honestly, I don’t really know,” before being asked if he had a message for BTS.
He first replied, “Keep going,” then suddenly added, “Jimin, I really love you.”
After people around him laughed, Young doubled down on the comment.
“Yes, I really love him,” he said, before adding, “One day, I’m going to come and meet you.”
Rolling Stone UK later highlighted the moment on social media, tagging Jimin and repeating Young’s message, “Jimin, I love you…”
Paddy Young currently appears as a host of the Weekend Update segment on SNL UK Season 2 after also taking part in the first season. He has also been touring the UK with his stand-up comedy performances.
The lighthearted confession quickly attracted attention among fans, adding another international celebrity name to the growing list of public figures who have openly shared their admiration for Jimin.
