• BTS's V Tops Google Trends as the Most Searched K-pop Star in October

    BTS’s V has proven his global stardom by becoming the “Most Searched K-pop Star” on Google for October 2024.

    According to Google Trends data from October 1 to October 31, V saw the highest search volume among K-pop stars, even though he is currently serving in the military and not actively participating in any special activities. This highlights his strong, ongoing popularity and widespread attention worldwide.

    In 67 countries where Google Trends tracks data, V ranked as the top search in 59 countries, further showing his massive global influence.

    Since BTS's debut in 2013, V has consistently held the highest search volume, solidifying his status as one of K-pop's biggest stars. In both 2021 and 2022, he was named the most searched star across all of Asia on Google Trends.

    In 2024, V ranked 4th among global artists, following Drake, Eminem, and Justin Bieber, and was the 12th most searched male and female pop star born after 1990. This places him alongside other major stars like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, and Billie Eilish.

    V also stands out on Wikipedia, becoming the first K-pop artist to surpass 10 million views on the English-language Wikipedia page. He continues to have the highest number of views among K-pop stars. On the Wikipedia rankings for "most searched male pop stars globally," he holds 7th place, and 1st among K-pop solo artists.

    On Instagram, V ranks as the top Asian star. He is 6th globally in the “Top 1000 Most Influential Influencers” by HypeAuditor, 4th in the U.S., and 3rd in the UK. In the music category, V is ranked 1st among male artists and 2nd overall, including both male and female artists, making him the highest-ranked Asian star.

    V continues to prove that he is a global superstar, leading the way among Asian stars on major platforms like Google, Wikipedia, and Instagram.
