The singer did not include a written statement about the recent discussion. Instead, she added black heart, cat, and paw print emojis to the post.
The photos came after some online users criticized Jang Wonyoung for briefly crossing her arms during an event at an amusement park. Those users claimed that the gesture appeared disrespectful or showed poor manners.
However, many others defended the IVE member and said crossing one’s arms can be an unconscious or comfortable habit. They also argued that it was unfair to judge her personality or attitude based on a brief gesture.
Although Jang Wonyoung did not directly address the criticism, the timing and pose of her latest photos led some viewers to interpret the post as a confident response to the controversy.
