SBS’s hit drama “Agent Kim Reactivated” continues to gain attention as So Ji Sub, Choi Dae Hoon, and Yoon Kyung Ho impress viewers with their different action styles and entertaining chemistry.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 6 recorded a nationwide rating of 22.3% on July 11.
The result pushed “Agent Kim Reactivated” past “The Fiery Priest,” which reached 22.0%, and “Taxi Driver 2,” which recorded 21.8%. It is now the second highest rated SBS Friday Saturday drama, behind “The Penthouse 2” at 29.2%.
So Ji Sub leads the drama as Kim Bu Jang, a former secret agent who had been living as an ordinary office worker. After his daughter Min Ji, played by Seo Soo Min, is taken, he returns to action to rescue her.
The actor brings emotional weight to the role by showing Kim Bu Jang’s love for his daughter and his determination to protect her. His intense and powerful fighting style also gives the drama a serious action tone.
However, Choi Dae Hoon and Yoon Kyung Ho have become equally important to the show’s growing popularity.
Choi Dae Hoon plays Sung Han Soo, a friendly and sometimes clumsy taekwondo school owner who reveals a completely different side during fights. As a former special operations agent and national taekwondo athlete, he delivers quick kicks and fast paced action.
Yoon Kyung Ho plays Park Jin Chul, a former secret agent once known for his strength on the battlefield. Although the character often creates funny moments, he also shows an intimidating presence through his powerful physical action.
Choi Dae Hoon and Yoon Kyung Ho add comedy through their constant arguments and playful conversations. Their chemistry helps reduce the tension without weakening the drama’s serious action scenes.
The three actors also offer clearly different fighting styles. So Ji Sub focuses on heavy and direct attacks, Choi Dae Hoon uses fast taekwondo techniques, and Yoon Kyung Ho relies on strength and physical power.
The balance of emotional drama, intense action, and natural comedy has become one of the main reasons behind the success of “Agent Kim Reactivated”.
