BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, is gaining attention for a touching moment during the group’s Brussels concert.
According to reports, V noticed a fan crying in the front row during the walkthrough section of BTS’s “ARIRANG” world tour concert at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on July 1 local time.
V then reportedly took off the green Celine zip up jacket he was wearing and personally handed it to the fan. The jacket was part of his stage outfit, and fans at the venue were heard cheering after his unexpected gesture.
The moment quickly spread online through videos and photos from different angles. Some clips also showed V gently patting the fan’s head, which made many fans react with both jealousy and admiration.
Fans left comments such as, “Was that ARMY someone who saved a country in a past life?” and “Jealousy is an illness, and I think I have it now.” Another fan wrote, “A jacket can be given to anyone, but do you know what it means that he patted the fan’s head? It should have been me.”
Other fans praised V’s kindness, with one saying, “He is someone who makes me believe kindness is real.” Another fan called him “a true king” for sharing such a personal moment with fans.
V is also known as a global ambassador for Celine, making the jacket gift even more talked about among fans.
Meanwhile, BTS held their Brussels concerts on July 1 and 2 as part of their “ARIRANG” world tour. The group’s Europe tour will continue in London, Munich, and Paris.
