Yoon Eun Hye has revealed a heartbreaking memory from her past, when she was forced to hold back her tears during a variety show recording.

On September 3, the 1st-generation girl group Baby V.O.X appeared as a full group on the show Narae Sik.

During the broadcast, the members looked back on the extreme challenges they had to face while promoting. Park Narae commented, “At that time, it really happened a lot. They would give idols disgusting food and make them eat it, or force them to do dangerous things.”

Kan Mi Yeon recalled bungee jumping and admitted, “After that, I developed a fear of heights.” Shim Eun Jin surprised everyone by saying, “My debut broadcast was actually bungee jumping.” Yoon Eun Hye quietly added, “Me too,” showing she had the same fear.

Shim Eun Jin also shared a shocking story from the 2003 SBS variety show Voyage to the Boyard Fort. She explained, “The writers asked us to write down the things we were most scared of and didn’t want to do. But instead of respecting that, they made us do those exact things.”

Yoon Eun Hye then revealed her painful experience, saying, “I had to go inside a pit with snakes, and I was so scared that I started crying. Then I suddenly heard someone tell me, ‘Eun Hye, if you cry, you can’t be on the broadcast, so don’t cry.’ From that moment, I cried without making a sound.”

Hearing her story, Park Narae sighed, “They really did that a lot. They loved showing girl groups crying. Didn’t they also make you go into haunted houses? In summer, that was always a must.”

Shim Eun Jin added, “We even did circus acts, like walking on a tightrope,” shocking Park Narae, who said, “That was truly a savage era.”
