Ahn Hyo Seop is showing another side of his talents in JTBC’s upcoming drama Final Table, taking on dialogue in multiple languages for his role as a globally experienced chef.

The new Saturday Sunday drama recently revealed photos from its script reading, where Ahn Hyo Seop joined co stars Hong Hwa Yeon, Jang Ryul, Jung Eugene, Jang Young Nam, Cha Ji Yeon, and other cast members.

Final Table follows Korean chefs who gather from around the world to compete in The Table: K Chef 2026, a competition searching for Korea’s best chef. The drama will combine food, competition, and the personal stories of its contestants.

Ahn Hyo Seop plays Kang Han, a chef who has traveled and worked around the world. Reflecting the character’s international background, the actor reportedly handled dialogue in several languages naturally during the script reading, adding authenticity to the role.

Ahn Hyo Seop, who is already known for his English ability, also showed a more serious side when performing scenes in which Kang Han presents his dishes to the competition judges.

Hong Hwa Yeon plays Choi Song Yi, the capable floor manager of restaurant Familia, while Jang Ryul takes on the role of Cha Woo Jin, the head chef of renowned restaurant Exception.

Jung Eugene portrays Sun Jung Won, the executive producer behind cooking survival program The Table: K Chef 2026. Jang Young Nam plays Moon Hae Sun, chairwoman of leading food service company Pyeongyeon Group, while Cha Ji Yeon plays her half sister Baek Hyun Joo, who has ambitions of taking control of the company.

With Ahn Hyo Seop transforming into an internationally experienced chef and using several languages for the character, attention is growing around how he will bring Kang Han to life when the culinary competition begins.

Final Table premieres October 24 at 10:40 p.m. KST on JTBC and will also be available globally through Prime Video.
