BLACKPINK is officially back as a full group after 2 years and 10 months, and they’re ready to shake up the global music scene once again with their brand-new digital single ‘Jump’, released at 1 PM KST on July 11.

This marks their first full-group comeback since 2022, and fans around the world are buzzing with excitement to see all four members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—perform together again.

According to YG Entertainment, ‘Jump’ is a hardstyle track that blends bold sounds with BLACKPINK’s signature energy. The song kicks off with a Western-style guitar riff, creating a dramatic mood before exploding into a high-energy chorus that’s catchy from the very first listen. Each member’s unique vocal color adds depth to the powerful beat.

The track was crafted by BLACKPINK’s longtime collaborators Teddy, 24, and a team of international hitmakers—many of whom helped shape the group’s past chart-topping songs. YG explained that this new song showcases BLACKPINK’s willingness to explore new genres while still keeping their fierce and stylish identity.

The music video for ‘Jump’ was directed by Dave Meyers, the visionary behind many of the group’s most iconic visuals. Packed with vibrant scenes, a fun storyline, and dozens of dancers, the MV is expected to show a bold new side of BLACKPINK.

YG shared,

“You’ll be able to feel the perfect synergy of all four members coming together again after 2 years and 10 months.”
“The music video especially captures BLACKPINK’s story and influence with powerful visuals, so please look forward to it.”

Even before the official release, ‘Jump’ was already drawing attention. The group performed the song early during their Goyang concert, and fans reacted with explosive cheers. Teaser clips for the comeback also shot straight to #1 on YouTube’s Worldwide Trending chart, proving BLACKPINK’s global star power is still going strong.

BLACKPINK’s comeback also marks the start of their massive world tour, with 31 shows in 16 cities. Following the Goyang performance, the group will hold concerts in Los Angeles on July 12 and 13, then move on to Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and more.

After nearly three years apart as a full group, BLACKPINK’s long-awaited reunion has fans worldwide cheering—and everyone is watching to see what kind of record-breaking success the queens of K-pop will write next.
