Yang Se Jong has shared his positive experience working with Park Eun Bin in tvN’s upcoming drama “Spooky in Love”.
The two actors, who were both born in 1992, discussed their chemistry during the drama’s press conference held in Seoul on July 14.
“Spooky in Love” is a supernatural romance about a wealthy heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate prosecutor who is extremely afraid of them. The series is a remake of the film of the same name.
Park Eun Bin explained that the drama combines several genres, with romance making up around half of the story.
She said, “Romance takes up about 50 percent, but the drama also includes supernatural elements, investigation, and action. We were able to show many genres together.”
Speaking about Yang Se Jong, Park Eun Bin revealed that this was her first time working with a romantic co star of the same age.
Yang Se Jong shared a similar experience, saying, “Park Eun Bin is the first actor of the same age that I have worked with.”
He added, “We worked very well together. We laughed a lot, and it was a good experience.”
The actor also said he felt comfortable returning to television because of the positive atmosphere on set and his good communication with director Lee Min Soo.
“It had been a while since I worked on a television drama,” he explained. “The atmosphere on set was very good, and the director and I understood each other well, so I was able to act comfortably.”
With Park Eun Bin and Yang Se Jong both praising their natural teamwork, viewers are now looking forward to seeing their chemistry in the upcoming supernatural romance.
“Spooky in Love” will premiere on July 18 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
