• Kim Heechul stunned to see Son Dam Bi’s baby bump, jokes that his mom will be heartbroken over her "dream daughter-in-law"

Kim Heechul couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his longtime friend, Son Dam Bi, with a big baby bump.

On the March 23 episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy, Kim Heechul paid a visit to Son Dam Bi’s home. The two have been friends for 23 years, and he stopped by to cheer her on as she prepared for childbirth.

The moment he saw her, Kim Heechul was shocked. "Are you messing with me? I really can't believe this," he blurted out. Son Dam Bi laughed and showed off her belly, saying, "It’s almost time. I only have a month left until I give birth."

Still in disbelief, Heechul jokingly said, "Are you sure you didn’t just stuff something in your belly? Honestly, I wish this wouldn’t air on TV."

He added, "If my mom finds out that you, the one she picked as her ideal daughter-in-law, are pregnant, she’s going to be insanely jealous."

Son Dam Bi also opened up about her journey to pregnancy. "Actress Choi Ji Woo became an icon for late pregnancy when she gave birth at 46. I’m having my baby at 43, so it’s considered a late pregnancy. But I feel lucky that the baby came to me at this age," she shared.

She revealed that she underwent IVF. "It usually takes around seven to eight tries, but for me, it happened in just two attempts. I failed the first time, then gained some weight before trying again, and I successfully got pregnant on the second attempt."

Son Dam Bi married former national speed skating champion Lee Kyu Hyuk in 2022. After two rounds of IVF, she announced her pregnancy last year. Her baby, nicknamed "Ddabong," is expected to arrive in April!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
