Fans of Taxi Driver are getting excited after several of the drama’s main cast members appeared together in a new photo and made a gesture that some viewers are interpreting as a possible hint at Season 4.
On August 20, actor Im Hyung Joon shared photos from the final filming of his YouTube variety project Castle of Acting.
Among the photos was a group shot featuring Taxi Driver stars Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram together with Im Hyung Joon.
What immediately caught attention was the group’s pose. Several of the actors held up four fingers, leading fans to wonder whether they were playfully teasing the possibility of Taxi Driver 4.
However, no official announcement about a fourth season has been made, so the gesture should be viewed as a fun hint rather than confirmation.
Im Hyung Joon also reflected on wrapping up Castle of Acting, which he created with Kim Eui Sung.
He wrote, “About a year ago, I was having dinner with Eui Sung hyung and we said, ‘Should we try making one or two episodes?’ That became ‘Castle of Acting,’ which continued for 10 months thanks to so much interest, love, and support.”
He also thanked the actors and production staff who participated in the project and expressed special appreciation to Kim Eui Sung for staying involved despite his busy schedule.
Taxi Driver first premiered in 2021 and has since become one of SBS’s major franchise dramas. Season 3 concluded earlier this year.
With Lee Je Hoon and other familiar cast members now appearing together while holding up four fingers, fans are once again hoping that another season could eventually be on the way.
