MBC’s A Bona Fide Killer continued its strong run in the Friday-Saturday drama ratings, holding onto first place with its latest episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, Episode 7, which aired on August 21, recorded an average nationwide household rating of 9.7% and 9.8% in the Seoul metropolitan area.

The episode also reached a peak rating of 12.2% during a scene featuring Yoo Bo Na, played by Gong Hyo Jin, relaxing alone at a mountain cabin.

Among viewers aged 20 to 54, the drama recorded a 3.7% rating, ranking No. 1 among all programs broadcast that day.

The latest episode also revealed more about the connection between Yoo Bo Na and Kwon Tae Sung, played by Jung Joon Won, including how their paths first crossed eight years earlier.

Without revealing major plot details, their past encounter showed that the two became connected under unexpected circumstances long before their current relationship developed.

One memorable moment featured Kwon Tae Sung telling Yoo Bo Na, “Life is precious. I hope you can stay alive too.”

The episode also explored how their connection became increasingly tied to the mysterious figure known as Kingfisher, adding more questions about what happened between them in the past.

The ending returned to Yoo Bo Na and Kwon Tae Sung’s earlier relationship, showing another emotional meeting from eight years ago and suggesting that their history may be more complicated than previously revealed.

With A Bona Fide Killer remaining No. 1 among Friday-Saturday dramas and reaching a peak of 12.2%, attention is now focused on whether the series can maintain its strong ratings as the story continues.
