Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and singer Car, the Garden created a funny moment after realizing that Taeyeon is actually older than him.
On August 20, Taeyeon appeared in a video on Car, the Garden’s YouTube channel. The two had previously met on tvN’s Amazing Saturday, but explained that they did not have much of a chance to talk at the time.
During their conversation, Car, the Garden recalled his high school days and mentioned that one of his classmates was a big Girls’ Generation fan.
He said, “When I was in high school, I had a friend named Dong Beom. He always had Girls’ Generation videos saved on his PMP.”
Taeyeon then became curious about their age difference and asked, “Are we around the same age?”
Car, the Garden replied, “Yes, but I’m younger.”
Taeyeon revealed, “I was born in 1989.”
Car, the Garden, who was born in 1990, immediately responded, “You’re my noona. Taeyeon noona.”
The unexpected discovery made the conversation even more playful.
Car, the Garden then added, “Most of the Girls’ Generation members are older than me.”
Nucksal jokingly apologized to him and said, “I’m sorry. I’ve been disrespectful again.”
The lighthearted exchange drew laughs as Taeyeon and Car, the Garden realized their age difference was not what some of them had expected.
