• “Single’s Inferno” Contestant Jo Yoong Jae Admits He Mishandled The Situation Rejecting Lee So E : It Was "Silly Of Me"

This season, "Single's Inferno 2" star Jo Yoong Jae has been both a fan favorite and a source of debate.

People liked how much he cared about Choi Seo Eun, but they didn't like how he treated other contestants on the show.

For instance, many people were upset when he teamed up with Kim Jin Young to wrestle against Choi Jong Woo.

But people had different opinions about how Jo Yoong Jae turned down Lee So E.

At first, Jo Yoong Jae was the most popular male contestant on "Single's Inferno 2." In the end, he was in the middle of a love triangle. Lee So E was still interested in him, even though he and Choi Seo Eun were both interested in each other.

Lee So E tried to find him and let him know that she wanted to go to Paradise with him, especially since people who had been there before couldn't pick the same person twice.

But he chose Lee Nadine on purpose instead of Lee Nadine to make sure he would stay in Inferno even though Choi Seo Eun went to Paradise, leaving him awkwardly with Lee So E and a few other contestants.

Lee So E was hurt by what he did, but she still talked to him again. In the end, he told her he didn't want to talk to her because he wanted to talk to other people.

She knew, though, that he only wanted to talk to Choi Seo Eun when he said that.

Eventually, Lee So E moved on from Jo Yoong Jae and met Kim Se Jun, who was the perfect match for her.

Still, a lot of people felt bad for Lee So E because of how Jo Yoong Jae dealt with the situation.

So, in a recent interview with the Brazilian site "NO! BACKSTAGE," he talked about the tension on the show and how he gets along with the other contestants.

"NO! BACKSTAGE" asked him about Lee So E. He said that he didn't mean any harm, but he knew that he could have handled the situation better.

He said sorry because he knew he had hurt Lee So E's feelings at the time.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
