Han So Hee discusses marriage, motherhood and her future in acting during an interview for the film 'The Intern'.

Han So Hee said she hopes to marry before turning 40 and has a strong desire to have children.

Han So Hee spoke with reporters on September 8 in Seoul while discussing 'The Intern', directed by Kim Do Young. The film follows Sunwoo, played by Han So Hee, a fashion company CEO whose workplace welcomes Kiho, a veteran intern played by Choi Min Sik.

When asked what kind of company she would like to join as an intern, Han So Hee said she would choose an entertainment news outlet. “I want to be an intern reporter in the entertainment section,” she said, adding that she would like to interview celebrities and is a fast typist.

Asked when she would like to marry, Han So Hee replied, “I really want to get married before I turn 40.” She said she does not have a romantic fantasy about marriage but does dream of having a baby. She also said she hopes to marry someone stable and joked that she would like her future husband to be genetically handsome for the sake of their child.

Regarding acting after giving birth, Han So Hee said she would likely take a break from work for the time being. “I don’t think I’ll act for a while,” she said, explaining that she would like to stay home until her child enters elementary school and spend as much meaningful time together as possible.

'The Intern' is scheduled to open in theaters on September 16.
