Former After School member Lee Joo Yeon shared how her friends reacted after seeing a more playful and clumsy side of her through YouTube.
On October 5, Lee Joo Yeon uploaded a new video titled *Lee Joo Yeon is reborn as a dark(?) Harley Quinn* on her YouTube channel.
During the video, the production team asked what people around her thought about her recent content.
Lee Joo Yeon said the response had generally been positive, explaining, *“The reactions were really good. One of my friends even asked, ‘Were you always this funny?’”*
However, another friend jokingly expressed concern about how much of her carefree personality she was showing.
Lee Joo Yeon recalled, *“One friend told me I probably shouldn’t keep going like this.”* She added that the friend advised her to show a smarter side as well because she can sometimes appear absent-minded.
The production team then unexpectedly tested her with a multiplication question, which she answered correctly.
Lee Joo Yeon went on to reveal that she was actually strong in mathematics during school, saying, *“I was good at math. I even received an award before. In high school, I scored 100 on both my midterm and final exams.”*
Her comments surprised the staff and showed a different side of her from the humorous image she has recently displayed on YouTube.
Lee Joo Yeon debuted as a member of After School in 2009 before later focusing on acting and other individual activities.
