Good Partner 2 has officially set its premiere for November 20, with Jang Na Ra returning as divorce lawyer Cha Eun Kyung alongside a new partner played by Kim Hye Yoon.
SBS released a teaser poster on October 14 showing Cha Eun Kyung beginning a new chapter as the head of her own divorce-focused law firm, Rebom.
The poster features an empty seat beside her with the message, *“Looking for a partner to join the second divorce show.”*
The new season comes two years after the original *Good Partner*, which followed veteran divorce lawyer Cha Eun Kyung and rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri. The first season became one of SBS’s biggest dramas of 2024, reaching a peak rating of 18.7% among metropolitan households according to Nielsen Korea.
In Good Partner 2, Cha Eun Kyung has left her previous firm and is now leading Rebom. Her new professional partner is Kang Hye Sung, an experienced lawyer played by Kim Hye Yoon.
The drama will focus on how the two lawyers work together while handling divorce cases, while also looking more closely at what happens to clients after their marriages end.
The production team explained, *“The second season goes one step beyond focusing only on divorce cases and looks at the lives and choices that continue after divorce.”*
They added, *“Viewers can look forward to Cha Eun Kyung’s refreshing journey as she grows again alongside new partners.”*
Jang Na Ra returns to the role that earned her the Grand Prize at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, while Kim Hye Yoon joins the series as one of its biggest new additions.
With its November 20 premiere now confirmed, Good Partner 2 is officially preparing to begin Cha Eun Kyung’s next chapter with a new law firm, a new partner, and a broader look at life after divorce.
