Song Joong Ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders have offered a rare glimpse into their family life in Italy through a special gift they made together.
During the October 15 episode of Choi Hwa Jung’s YouTube show *Hello, This Is Choi Hwa Jung*, the host introduced a bottle of olive oil that Song Joong Ki had personally given her.
While preparing food, Choi Hwa Jung said, *“Joong Ki gave this to me as a gift.”*
She then explained that the olive oil came from olives harvested by Song Joong Ki and Katy in Italy.
Choi Hwa Jung said, *“He told me it was olive oil from their first harvest in Italy with his wife. He said the two of them harvested it together. Isn’t that so precious?”*
She also pointed out an illustration on the bottle showing two young children and said Song Joong Ki had told her they represented the couple’s children.
Choi Hwa Jung added, *“The babies drawn here are their children.”*
Because she considered the olive oil special, Choi Hwa Jung said she usually saves it for certain occasions. After using some in the dish, she commented, *“The aroma is different.”*
Song Joong Ki has previously spoken about spending time in Italy, his wife’s home country, as part of the family’s life between countries.
The actor married Katy Louise Saunders in 2023, and the couple now have a son and a daughter.
Their latest family update also comes months after false online claims about their marriage circulated in July. No credible confirmation supported those divorce rumors.
The handmade olive oil and its family-themed bottle offered fans a small but personal look at Song Joong Ki and Katy’s everyday life together in Italy.
