Hyeri shared her deep affection for the Girl’s Day members and talked about their 16 year friendship.
The singer and actress said she recently met the members after planning the date months in advance. Since everyone is busy with acting and other schedules, they do not meet often, but when they do, they spend a long time together.
Hyeri said, “Once we meet, we really talk until very late,” adding that they once met at 5 PM and talked until around 5 AM. She joked that they may only meet again next year, but explained that they always try to see each other at least once a year.

She also shared that their bond is hard to explain unless someone has been in a girl group. Hyeri said that when the members meet, it feels natural and familiar, like meeting relatives during the holidays. She added that they even set their next meeting date during their last gathering.
When asked what Girl’s Day means to her, Hyeri gave a heartfelt answer. She explained that she is careful about calling people close friends because she believes a close person is someone she can call right away without worrying if they are busy.
However, Hyeri said the Girl’s Day members are different. She shared, “The Girl’s Day members are just close to me,” and added, “They know everything about me, and I know everything about them.”

She continued, “They are my people who have everything about me,” explaining that they can talk freely without being careful or overthinking.
Hyeri also said that even though some members are now married, they still feel the same when they meet.

She added that the group sometimes talks about promoting together again, but admitted that it is not easy in reality even if they all want to.
Since all the members are now active in acting or entertainment, Hyeri said their conversations have changed. They now talk about acting, projects, YouTube, variety shows, and personal worries.
Hyeri also reflected on staying true to herself, saying she does not feel the need to change her face just to become prettier. She said, “I just want to go forward as myself.”
