Girls’ Generation members Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung shared a playful moment with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo after meeting her at a fashion event in New York.
The three members, who are currently promoting together under the project unit HyoRiSoo, recently attended Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection show in New York, where they ran into Jisoo.
The four stars warmly greeted each other and posed for photos together at the event.
On September 11, Sooyoung shared a video of their meeting on social media and jokingly invited Jisoo to join their unit.
She wrote, “Jisoo, would you like to become HyoRiSoo’s youngest member?”
Sooyoung then added, “For the growth of the group, I’m willing to give up the ‘Soo’ position.”
The joke referred to the name HyoRiSoo, which combines parts of Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung’s names. Since Jisoo also has “Soo” in her name, Sooyoung playfully suggested stepping aside so Jisoo could take her place.
HyoRiSoo originally began as a lighthearted project through the Fake Kim Hyoyeon content on Hyoyeon’s YouTube channel Hyo’s Level Up. The trio gained attention for humorously competing over positions such as main vocalist and center before eventually turning the project into an actual unit.
The group later released their song Skibidi on August 31. The track mixes house and hip hop sounds and carries a message about creating their own path.
Their unexpected meeting with Jisoo quickly became another fun moment for fans, especially after Sooyoung’s playful suggestion that the BLACKPINK member could become HyoRiSoo’s newest addition.
