Actress Shin Se Kyung has reportedly purchased a residence at L'ARBRE 27, an ultra luxury residential development being built in Samseong dong, Gangnam, Seoul.
According to a September 10 report by TenAsia, Shin Se Kyung purchased a unit at L'ARBRE 27 and is preparing to move into the property next year.
The exact type of residence she purchased and the price she reportedly paid have not been disclosed.
L'ARBRE 27 is a high end residential complex under construction in Samseong dong, an area close to Cheongdam dong, COEX, Bongeunsa Temple, and the Han River. Hyundai Engineering & Construction is handling the project, which consists of two buildings with only 27 residences.
According to information cited from the property sales industry, homes in the development come with exceptionally high prices. Terrace house units reportedly start at around 14 billion won, while certain sixth floor terrace residences have reportedly been offered for approximately 19.5 billion won. Garden houses are said to start at around 26 billion won.
The development's largest super penthouse units have reportedly been offered at prices exceeding 40 billion won.
However, these figures refer to reported prices for different types of residences at L'ARBRE 27 and do not confirm how much Shin Se Kyung paid for her unit.
The surrounding Samseong Station area is also undergoing major development, including the large scale underground redevelopment project along Yeongdong daero.
Meanwhile, Shin Se Kyung recently starred in director Ryoo Seung Wan's action spy film Humint, the official international title used by Netflix for 휴민트. She played Chae Sun Hwa, a North Korean restaurant employee, alongside Zo In Sung, Park Jeong Min, and Park Hae Joon.
Humint was released in South Korean theaters on February 11, 2026, before becoming available globally on Netflix on March 31. Shin Se Kyung later received the Best Supporting Actress award in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for her performance.
