Rosé of BLACKPINK has officially added another major achievement to her career.

On February 28 local time, Rosé won International Song of the Year at the 46th Brit Awards held in Manchester, UK, for her duet track “APT.” with Bruno Mars.

The Brit Awards, organized by the British Phonographic Industry, is one of the most prestigious music award shows in the UK.

With this win, Rosé made history once again. She had already become the first and only K pop artist to be nominated at the Brit Awards both as a group member and as a solo artist.

Now, she has secured a trophy, marking another milestone for K pop on the global stage.

During her acceptance speech, Rosé shared, “It is an honor to receive such an amazing award in front of so many talented musicians.” She also expressed gratitude, saying, “I want to say I love and thank Bruno Mars, who has been my mentor and close friend, the BLACKPINK members who always inspire me, and producer Teddy.”

Released in October 2024, “APT.” has achieved strong global results. The song won Song of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, becoming the first track by a K pop artist to take home the grand prize in that category. It was also nominated for Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the Grammy Awards, marking another first for a K pop act in the main categories.

In addition, “APT.” topped the IFPI Global Single Chart, which ranks songs based on worldwide streaming and downloads. Rosé became the first K pop artist to reach No. 1 on this chart, and the first artist from outside North America and Europe to top it.

With major awards, No. 1 rankings, and record breaking nominations, Rosé continues to expand her global impact with “APT.”
