WayV members Kun and Yangyang are joining the cast of Going All the Way! Dokbak Tour for a special trip through Taining, China, with Kun personally stepping in as a hometown guide.
The September 5 episode follows Kim Dae Hee, Kim Jun Ho, Jang Dong Min, Yoo Se Yoon, and Hong In Gyu as they continue their journey through China before unexpectedly meeting the two NCT members.
After spending the night at a large accommodation arranged by local celebrity chef Zhan Zonglin, the cast was surprised the following morning when Kun and Yangyang arrived.
Kim Dae Hee warmly welcomed them, prompting a confused Yoo Se Yoon to ask, “Dae Hee hyung, are you close with NCT?”
Kim Dae Hee jokingly replied, “No. I was introduced to them by Kkondaehee hyung.”
The answer, which played along with Kim Dae Hee’s famous Kkondaehee character as though he were a separate person, immediately made Kun and Yangyang laugh.
Kun then revealed the real reason he wanted to join the trip.
“Taining is actually my hometown, so I wanted to travel together with you today,” he explained.
With Kun joining as the group’s local guide and Yangyang accompanying him, their first destination was an ancient walled area in Taining.
Kun explained, “I recommend the ancient city as our first destination. We’ll take a taxi there.”
Kim Dae Hee jokingly misunderstood him and asked, “Do you mean Goseong in South Gyeongsang Province?”
Kun then clarified that he was referring to an old Chinese city with more than 1,000 years of history before leading the group there.
The appearance gives Kun a chance to introduce his hometown directly to the cast while showing a different side of himself outside WayV’s usual music activities. With Yangyang also joining the comedians, the episode is expected to focus on their casual chemistry and the unexpected fun that comes from mixing WayV with the veteran variety show cast.
