Jeon So Min honestly shared a painful memory from her past relationship, drawing attention for her emotional confession on television.

On the February 9 broadcast of SBS’s No But Seriously, Jeon So Min appeared alongside Kwak Si Yang and opened up about the difficult feelings that inspired her writing.

While talking about her book You Can Call Me Even If You’ve Been Drinking, Jeon So Min struggled to speak about her past, quietly saying, “At that time… can you please turn off the camera,” showing how hard it was for her to relive those memories.

She explained that her former boyfriend did not drink alcohol and said, “After we broke up, he never contacted me even once. I wondered if it was because he didn’t drink. That’s why I wrote the book. I really wished he would contact me.” Her words revealed lingering emotions that remained long after the relationship ended.

Jeon So Min then shared a deeply emotional moment, saying, “I once cried and begged him to change his phone number. I told him I couldn’t forget that number. I said, ‘For me, for us, please change your number.’”

She added that his response was cold, as he simply told her, “Then you’re the one who shouldn’t call.”
