DAY6 is under fire after fans shared troubling stories about what happened at their recent fan meeting — and it’s not about the performances.
On July 21, several online communities were filled with complaints about the strict identity checks and entry process for DAY6’s fourth official fan meeting, “Feel The: All My Days,” which is being held to celebrate the group’s 10th anniversary.
Screenshots of official notices and personal experiences began circulating, with one fan commenting, “This is stricter than airport security, a presidential ID check, or applying for a loan!”
Fans expressed frustration over the event’s policy requiring the name on the ticket to match the attendee’s ID exactly.
One fan pointed out, “Whether it’s a concert or a fan meeting, people often buy tickets as gifts for friends or family. But this system forces people to share personal documents like ID numbers and addresses, even in group chats — that’s a privacy issue.”
Another fan claimed they were denied entry even after police confirmed their identity, saying, “It felt like the security staff had more power than law enforcement. That’s abuse of power.”
One especially alarming story came from a fan who booked the ticket using their mother’s name.
“I brought my mom’s ID, my own ID, and a family relation certificate. But a staff team leader still blocked me. I even saw people uploading their mom’s ID, the family certificate, and their own ID photos in a group chat. That’s not right. This needs to go public fast.”
Not all fans had the same experience, though. Others said the process went smoothly. “It seemed like only one security guard was being unreasonable. I got in easily with my documents, even without the ticket holder being there.”
Still, many fans are calling out the situation, urging action from DAY6’s agency:
“That guard crossed the line.”
“This shouldn’t happen again.”
“The agency needs to explain and fix this.”
Despite the controversy, DAY6’s “Feel The: All My Days” has been a huge success in terms of attendance.
All six shows, held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul starting July 18, sold out in advance during pre-sales for 5th-generation members of their official fan club, My Day.
