Actor Gong Myung surprised viewers by revealing the expensive birthday gift he received from his younger brother, NCT’s Doyoung.
On June 6, Gong Myung appeared on the YouTube show “Pinggyego” with Jin Sun Kyu, Yoon Kyung Ho, and Lee Da Hee to promote their upcoming Netflix movie “Husbands in Action”.
During the conversation, Gong Myung shared that Doyoung could not attend the movie’s family preview because he is currently serving in the military.
Gong Myung then revealed a sweet story about his recent birthday. He said, “My birthday was in May, and my younger brother gave me one big gift. He bought me a car.”
Yoo Jae Suk was shocked and asked, “Your younger brother, who is in the military, bought you a car?”
Gong Myung explained that Doyoung even asked him to mention the gift publicly. He shared, “When he bought me the car, he told me, ‘Hyung, you should talk about this somewhere, right?’”
The actor then stood up and jokingly bowed toward Doyoung, saying, “Thank you so much to the chairman of our family. I will take good care of it and drive it for a long time”. His playful reaction made everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, “Husbands in Action” is set to be released on Netflix on June 19. Doyoung enlisted on December 8 last year and is currently serving as an active duty soldier in the Army.
