DAY6 member Young K drew attention after revealing a surprising part of his past during his trainee days.
On the April 18 broadcast of tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday’, Young K shared that he once appeared in the popular drama ‘Dream High’ when he was just 17 years old.
The moment came up during a game where the cast had to guess the title of a drama featuring two actors who played friends.
When ‘Dream High’, known for starring IU and Suzy as friends 15 years ago, was mentioned as the correct answer, Young K reacted by saying, “I was in that,” expressing disappointment that he missed the chance to answer.
He then added playfully, “Why am I not there? I appeared as a dancer. I wasn’t a friend,” making everyone laugh with his honest comment.
Host Boom responded jokingly, “You weren’t a friend, right? We’re very detailed. We’ll look for it,” leading to further amusement on set.
The broadcast then showed a clip from the drama, revealing a young 17-year-old trainee Young K appearing as a dancer in a scene where 2PM’s Wooyoung was performing, confirming his brief but memorable appearance.
