Fans at Coldplay’s concert in Korea were treated to an unforgettable moment when BLACKPINK’s Rosé suddenly showed up on stage—and the whole crowd went wild singing “APT.”
On April 22, Coldplay held the fourth show of their Korean tour at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. It was part of their Music of the Spheres world tour, and no one expected what happened next.
While sitting at the piano, Coldplay’s Chris Martin began jokingly singing “Apartment, Apartment” with a laugh. At first, fans thought he was just playing around. But soon, the full band joined in—and to everyone’s surprise, Rosé appeared out of nowhere!

With her signature blonde hair, Rosé ran across the long stage and started singing with Chris Martin. The crowd instantly exploded with energy, singing “APT” at the top of their lungs.
After the song ended, Rosé waved goodbye, but Chris Martin wasn’t done. He smiled and shouted, “This is so fun. Let’s do it one more time!” Fans got to experience the magical duet all over again, singing “APT” twice with Rosé and Coldplay.
Rosé and Coldplay are actually under the same global label—Atlantic Records under Warner Music—so the collab makes sense. But the surprise appearance still caught fans off guard, especially since Rosé had just been in the U.S. the day before to cheer on BLACKPINK members Jennie and Lisa at Coachella.
Her quick return to Korea to join Coldplay’s stage left fans impressed with her loyalty and energy.
That’s not all—G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Yong) was also spotted in the audience! He came with Code Kunst and actor Jung Hae In. G-Dragon is Rosé’s senior from YG Entertainment and recently worked with Code Kunst on Good Day.
Adding to the fun, Chris Martin made fans laugh by saying Taeyang’s famous meme line, “Everyone, I missed you so much,” while playing the piano. The twist? Taeyang was actually at the concert too! He later posted a video from the show with the caption, “Hey Coldplay… I missed you too.”
Coldplay is holding six concerts in total at the Goyang Sports Complex—on April 16, 18, 19, 22, 24, and 25. It’s the biggest solo concert series by any foreign artist in Korea, drawing about 300,000 fans.
It’s safe to say this night will be remembered for a long time.
