The much-anticipated press conference for the movie It's a Fairy Tale but Rated R has been suddenly canceled!

On December 10, the production team revealed the shocking news: "The press conference for It's a Fairy Tale but Rated R, originally scheduled for December 12 at 11 AM, has been canceled due to internal circumstances."

It's a Fairy Tale but Rated R is a comedy film about a woman named Danbi, who dreams of becoming a children's book author but works as an adult content enforcement officer. She unexpectedly discovers her talent for writing provocative 19+ web novels.

Directed by Lee Jong Suk, known for his work on The Negotiation (2018), the movie features Park Ji Hyun as Danbi, making her comedic debut. Joining her is Choi Siwon, known for his comedic roles, playing Jeongseok, an officer dealing with a mid-life slump. Veteran actor Sung Dong Il plays Hwang, a key figure in the adult web novel industry.

But this isn’t the only movie facing delays. It's Okay, It's Okay, It's Okay! has also postponed its release. Distributor By4M Studio confirmed, "The film, which was supposed to premiere on December 24, has been pushed back to ensure it reaches audiences under better circumstances." As a result, the media screening and press interviews with stars like Lee Rae and Jin Seo Yeon, set for December 12, have also been canceled.

As a result, some members of the film industry have called for drastic actions to resolve the situation.

The political climate is definitely affecting the entertainment world, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how this will impact the film industry’s upcoming releases. Stay tuned for more updates!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
