Former LABOUM member Yulhee recently took to social media to share an exciting update with her fans, giving a glimpse into her current life and hinting at a new romance!
In December, Yulhee announced her divorce from F.T. Island's Choi Min Hwan. She revealed that Min Hwan would be taking custody of their children and that she had moved out of their family home.
Fast forward to June 5, Yulhee decided to host a Q&A session on her Instagram stories, answering burning questions from her followers. One fan asked, "What are you up to these days?" to which Yulhee coyly responded, "Actually nothing special, but I spend most of my time with my best friend (who is almost my boyfriend… ^^)," leaving fans buzzing with excitement.
She went on to share, "We eat together, work together, do everything together… We are so close it's ironic when we get sad saying 'I'm going home to sleep'."
Accompanying her responses was a photo of Yulhee enjoying some leisure time with her best friend, further fueling the dating rumors.
Yulhee and Choi Min Hwan tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed three beautiful children together.
However, in December 2023, they announced the end of their six-year marriage. Yulhee explained, "After much consideration and conversation, we decided to support each other on our individual journeys. While our journey as a couple ends here, we are still committed to being the best parents to our children and will continue to care for them together."
Regarding Min Hwan taking custody of the kids, Yulhee shared, "We decided it was best for the children to stay in the environment they were used to, minimizing any psychological stress. Therefore, their father will take care of them. I also spend time with the children frequently to ensure they do not feel my absence."
