Kim Woo Bin is drawing attention for a thoughtful gesture after revealing that he had been keeping gifts in his car so he could personally give them to fans when he finally met them.
On October 6, a fan shared a video showing Kim Woo Bin greeting fans and signing autographs after work. During the interaction, the actor suddenly told one longtime fan that he had prepared something specifically for her.
Kim Woo Bin said, “I bought a gift because I wanted to give it to you.”
He then went to the trunk of his car and brought out a large shopping bag containing products from a fragrance brand for which he currently serves as an ambassador.
Explaining why he prepared the gift, Kim Woo Bin told the fan, “Thanks to you, I even got to film an advertisement, so I was really grateful and wanted to give you something.”
He added, “I kept it in my car because I was wondering when I would see you.”
The connection dates back to a previous fan signing event. According to the fan, she once asked Kim Woo Bin to recommend a fragrance, and he reportedly gave her the perfume he was personally using at the time. Kim Woo Bin later became a model for that same fragrance brand.
The actor also prepared gifts for other fans who were present instead of bringing something for only one person.
Kim Woo Bin explained, “I thought it might feel awkward if you were the only one receiving something. I wanted to give the others something too.”
He also made sure to clarify that the products were not promotional gifts from the company.
“These weren't given to me. I bought them myself, so don't misunderstand,” he said.
Kim Woo Bin continued thanking the fan, saying he had wanted to deliver the gift much earlier but had only recently been able to meet her again.
The interaction gained attention online, with many fans praising the actor for remembering the earlier encounter and personally carrying the gifts until he had an opportunity to hand them over.
