Park Ji Hoon and Jeon Mi Do have both received Star of the Year honors at the 35th Buil Film Awards for their performances in The King's Warden.
The awards ceremony was held on October 7 in Busan during the 31st Busan International Film Festival.
Park Ji Hoon won the male Star of the Year award and thanked his fans for their continued support.
He said, “First, I really want to thank MAY, the fans who give me so much love. I want to share the honor of this award with all of you.”
Park Ji Hoon added, “I will work even harder to show you a better side of myself both as an actor and as an idol. Thank you sincerely for all the love.”
Jeon Mi Do received the female Star of the Year award. Although she was unable to attend the ceremony in person, she shared her acceptance speech through a video message.
She said, “I am disappointed that I could not be there in person to receive the award and share my feelings.”
Jeon Mi Do added, “It feels especially meaningful because I believe this award was given by the audiences and fans who loved The King's Warden. It feels like a meaningful way to wrap up this journey, and I am truly grateful.”
The King's Warden has drawn a large audience, with cumulative admissions reported at around 16.92 million.
