• IVE's Jang Won Young opens up about her extroverted personality, "I honestly don't get nervous"

IVE's Jang Won Young, the born entertainer, recently revealed that she's never felt a hint of nervousness in her life. How cool is that?

She made this revelation during her appearance on the web show 'Salon de Lip 2', which aired on May 7th.

Talking about her personality, Jang Won Young shared, "I'm super outgoing and love making friends. I'm naturally affectionate, especially with my mom. We're super close. When I see her, I just run up and give her a big hug. I don't say much, but I make these cute 'uh uh' sounds. That's just how I am when I'm comfortable with someone."

She went on to say, "I'm not the type to shy away from people I don't know. I've never felt embarrassed or awkward about approaching others or speaking in front of a crowd. I guess I'm just a natural when it comes to being in the spotlight."

When asked by Jang Do Yeon if she ever had a recording that didn't go as planned, Jang Won Young confidently replied, "If something like that happens, I just tell myself to do better next time. I don't dwell on it or have any regrets." Jang Do Yeon was so impressed that she jokingly asked to see Jang Won Young's ID.

Jang Do Yeon also asked about her experience as an awards ceremony MC, to which Jang Won Young responded, "I honestly don't get nervous. I can't remember ever feeling nervous," she said.

Even her debut stage at the tender age of 14 didn't faze her. "I was too young to be nervous. It was all just fun and exciting. I don't think I've ever been that nervous in my life."

When asked about her fears, she admitted, "Ghosts and bugs really freak me out. After watching a horror movie, I have to turn on all the lights when I go to the bathroom and I can't close my eyes, even for a second, while washing my face." This confession had everyone in stitches.

And that's our Jang Won Young - a natural-born entertainer who's not afraid to be herself!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
