• "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Kang Tae Oh's Most Memorable Scene Was His First Date With Woo Young Woo, Here's Why

In MBC FM4U's 'Noon's Hope Song, Kim Shin-young', which was broadcast on July 29th (Friday), Kang Tae Oh introduced and talked about the topical drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'.

On this day, DJ Kim Shin-young mentioned the kiss scene in episode 10 of 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' and said, "The scene was amazing. A little wit and a little loveliness were produced with just one light. I was surprised."

Kang Tae Oh said, "It was very late at the time, and it was filming in the hallway of the apartment, so I had to be very quiet. So basically, we filmed quietly and carefully. Also, since it was a kissing scene, both of us were very nervous. I used to talk and I did,”.

In response, Kim Shin Young said, "Yesterday, one of Kang Tae Oh's lines, 'Open your mouth a little,' and this was so sweet. The nuances change depending on what you're talking about, so I thought I'd go to the scene and see the atmosphere, but Park Eun Bin brought out the romantic atmosphere so well on set, so I think it came out naturally without me knowing."

When Kim Shin Young asked, "How was it when you first received the script?", Kang Tae Oh said, "I don't lie and I'm not good at speed reading and I tend to read slowly, but it reads slowly. I felt like it melted away. I felt the warm feeling of the drama so well that I wanted to do it unconditionally because I thought it would be great to do it with this work, regardless of the size or character of the role."

To a listener's question, "Which role do you like more, the role of Kwon Mo Sul, Kwon Min Woo or the role of sub-father Jeong Myung Seok?", Kang Tae Oh said, "Both characters are very attractive. It's a bit of a joke," and when Kim Shin Young said, "You look like an actor with all colors and different colors," Kang Tae-oh responded, "I'll try my best to make that happen."

In response to another listener's question, "What is actor Kang Tae Oh's favorite scene?", Kang Tae Oh said, "Do you want to go see the sunset in Jun Ho? This is the scene where he asks for a date for the first time. I think empathy is important, but when I think of my past, when I confess to someone or ask for a date, my heart thumps, and how much I worry and how slippery the steering wheel was because of sweat while driving. When I think of that and substitute Junho's feelings at that time, I can feel that emotion. That scene is the most memorable."

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
