• Shin Min Ah Shares Her Thoughts About 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha' In Her Latest Pictorial For 'Elle' Magazine

Actress Shin Min Ah graced the cover of the January 2022 issue of fashion magazine 'Elle'.

The cover shoot was conducted in a free-spirited and relaxed atmosphere. Shin Min Ah, who is in the midst of filming the drama 'Our Blues', radiated her own loveliness and cool side at the 'Elle' cover pictorial site, creating cheers from the staff.

After filming, an interview was held. When asked about her current situation, Shin Min Ah shared, "I'm filming 'Our Blues', and I think I'll be able to show you a performance with a different resolution from my previous work. I am very focused these days, and I feel excited.” She added, “The rich stories of various actors will give you a lot of comfort.” and showed special affection for the work.

When asked about her feelings after the end of the drama 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha', Shin Min Ah said, "I think I became a little more flexible while playing Yoon Hye-jin in ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’. Just because I enter a new work does not mean that the previous one disappears from me. My character’s name in ‘Our Blues’ is ‘Sun-ah’. I’m both Yoon Hye-jin and Sun-ah now.”

When asked if she has become proficient in the way of living as a working woman, actress and star, Shin Min-ah confessed, “It doesn’t work out like that (laugh). I thought I would be able to cross a certain line if I continued doing the same thing for over 20 years, but the more I do, the more trouble I get. The world constantly tells me not to think that I know everything. I need to feel, experience, and study changes consistently.”

Shin Min Ah's pictorial, interview, and individual YouTube contents can be found in the January issue of 'Elle', the 'Elle' website, and on ELLE YouTube.

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”

Fans praised his dedication to acting but also felt moved by how deeply the role affected him. Lee Jun Young’s honesty gave a raw look at how even fictional roles can hit close to home.
