TXT's older songs reach new Spotify milestones as 'CROWN' hits 200 million and 'Opening Sequence' passes 100 million streams

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has achieved two new streaming milestones on Spotify, with the group's older songs "CROWN" and *Opening Sequence* reaching 200 million and 100 million streams, respectively.

According to BigHit Music, TXT's debut song *CROWN* has officially surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on Spotify, while *Opening Sequence* has exceeded 100 million streams.

The achievements highlight the continued popularity of the group's earlier releases, even years after they first became available.

Released in March 2019, *CROWN* served as the title track of TXT's debut album, *The Dream Chapter: STAR*.

The synth-pop song compares the confusion and difficulties of growing up to suddenly developing horns on one's head. It helped introduce TXT's musical identity during their debut.

The song also achieved international recognition early in the group's career, reaching No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart dated March 16, 2019.

Seven years after its release, *CROWN* has now reached another major milestone with more than 200 million Spotify streams.

Meanwhile, *Opening Sequence*, a track from TXT's fourth mini album, *minisode 2: Thursday's Child*, released in 2022, has surpassed 100 million streams.

The song compares the painful moment of a breakup to the opening scene of a movie. Members Taehyun and Huening Kai participated in writing its lyrics.

During its original release, *Opening Sequence* reached No. 15 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart dated May 21, 2022.

With both songs reaching new milestones, TXT continues to expand its collection of tracks with hundreds of millions of streams on Spotify.

The group's *0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)* featuring Seori has already surpassed 300 million streams.

Other popular songs, including *LO$ER=LO♡ER*, *Blue Hour*, *Sugar Rush Ride*, *Deja Vu*, and *Run Away*, have also accumulated more than 200 million streams each.

The latest achievements come as TXT prepares for another comeback.

The five-member group, consisting of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, is scheduled to release its ninth mini album, *PERFECT STORM*, on November 16 at 6 p.m. KST.

Ahead of its release, the album has already surpassed 300,000 pre-saves on Spotify.

It also ranked No. 1 on Spotify's Top 10 Countdown for four consecutive days, from October 26 to 29.

According to the report, first-day pre-save participation for *PERFECT STORM* was approximately 3.5 times higher than that of TXT's previous album.

With *CROWN* and *Opening Sequence* reaching new Spotify milestones and strong early interest in *PERFECT STORM*, TXT continues to attract listeners to both its older music and upcoming releases.
