‘Four Hands, Two Sonatas’ takes No. 1 in drama buzz ranking in its first week as Lee Jun Young and Song Kang claim top two actor spots

tvN’s Four Hands, Two Sonatas made a strong debut by taking first place in the latest TV and OTT drama buzz rankings, while its stars Lee Jun Young and Song Kang also dominated the performer rankings.

According to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex rankings for the fourth week of August, Four Hands, Two Sonatas ranked No. 1 among TV and OTT dramas during its first week of broadcast. The drama surpassed Netflix’s newly released Mousetrap to claim the top spot.

The result also marks the first time in about a year that a tvN drama has entered the buzz rankings at No. 1 during its premiere week, following Bon Appétit, Your Majesty in the third week of August 2025.

Adding to the drama’s strong start, Lee Jun Young ranked No. 1 in the drama performer buzz ranking, while Song Kang followed at No. 2. Online reactions highlighted the two actors as major factors behind the growing attention surrounding Four Hands, Two Sonatas.

ENA’s New Recruit 4 placed second in the drama ranking after recording a strong opening similar to its previous season. Lee Hyun Kyun, who appears as the battalion commander, ranked No. 7 among performers.

Netflix’s Mousetrap came in third, with Ryu Jun Yeol ranking No. 3 among drama performers and Sol Kyung Gu taking No. 10.

MBC’s A Bona Fide Killer ranked fourth, followed by KBS2’s Love Is Coming at No. 5, SBS’s Flex X Cop 2 at No. 6, and tvN’s My Bias, My Boss at No. 7.

KBS2’s upcoming drama A Love Other Than Yours entered the ranking at No. 8 even before its premiere, showing early interest centered around lead actors Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin.

Disney+’s A Shop for Killers Season 2 and Coupang Play’s The Affair Was Just the Beginning completed the Top 10 at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively.

Good Data Corporation’s ranking covered TV dramas and OTT original series that aired, streamed, or were scheduled for release between August 24 and August 30, 2026. The rankings are calculated by analyzing news coverage, online discussions, video content, short-form clips, social media activity, and audience reactions, while unrelated and artificially manipulated data are filtered out.

With Four Hands, Two Sonatas taking No. 1 immediately after its premiere and Lee Jun Young and Song Kang securing the top two performer positions, the drama has emerged as one of the most talked-about new releases of the week.
