Hani and Ha Seok Jin’s KBS 2TV weekend drama Love on the Menu has reached a new personal best in ratings.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 12, which aired on August 30, recorded an average nationwide household rating of 17.0%. The result marks the drama’s highest rating since its premiere.
Love on the Menu also ranked No. 1 among all programs broadcast over the weekend, showing continued growth as the story moves deeper into its central relationships.
In the latest episode, Han Gyu Rim, played by Hani, begins making major changes in her life after spending years putting her family first. Her decision to become more independent becomes one of the main developments of the episode.
Meanwhile, her complicated relationship with Kim Moo Jin, played by Ha Seok Jin, continues to move forward. After a series of emotional moments, Gyu Rim eventually decides to visit Moo Jin’s restaurant, creating another turning point between the two characters.
The episode also explored growing tension surrounding Gyu Rim’s family and workplace, while several characters continued trying to protect and support her.
